How it works

    Open the link

    Paintnox runs in your browser. No download, no install, and no powerful hardware needed.

    Jump into a match

    Quick Play drops you into a public match within seconds. Empty slots are filled with bots, so there is always a game.

  3. 03

    Cover the floor

    Rounds are short and the paint stays on the map all match. When time runs out, the team that covers more floor wins the round.

Modes

Paint Control is the main mode. In a private room the host picks any of the three.

Paint Control

Every surface you paint scores for your team. When time runs out, the team that covers more of the floor wins the round. Last team standing always wins outright.

Elimination

No paint scoring. At time-up, the team with more players still in wins the round.

Flag Rush

Carry the enemy flag to your base while yours is home. Three captures win the round. A dropped flag returns after 15 seconds, or when a teammate touches it.

In the arena

Do I need to download anything?

No. Paintnox runs in your browser. Open the link and play.

Is it free?

Yes, it is free to play. The plan is cosmetics only, with no pay-to-win.

Do I need an account?

No. You can play as a guest. Signing in keeps your name and tracks your matches.

Are the other players real?

Sometimes. Quick Play fills empty slots with bots so a match can start right away, and bots step aside as real players join.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Make a private room, share the link or code, and choose teams, rounds and time together.

Does it work on phones and controllers?

Phone, tablet and controller support is still in testing. Laptop and desktop are the supported way to play today.
